My Personal Bible Studies
I am Mark Gatzen, a Christian layperson from the Netherlands. I am not a theologian, pastor, scholar, or official representative of a church. I am, in my own words, a Bible nerd: someone who loves God, loves His Word, and has spent time trying to understand Scripture carefully.
These studies are personal Bible studies, published in the hope that they may be useful to others. They are not academic papers, but neither are they quick summaries. They assume some familiarity with the Bible and ask for patient reading. My aim is to make serious Bible study accessible to readers who are willing to slow down, follow the argument, and test everything against Scripture itself.
